In 2017, Andrea Gallenkamp handed over the baton to her son Nicolas Gallenkamp, who has been running the company with innovative ideas ever since.
Forward-looking changes were initiated in the company: these include not only the commissioning of our NOSTA KV terminal in Osnabrück, but also the expansion of our international business activities and the construction of our central administration building at the Ladbergen location. Another significant milestone was the successful handover from Andrea Gallenkamp to Nicolas Gallenkamp in 2017.
Since the 1 May 2009, the Winkelhausenkaserne barracks in the port of Osnabrück has been the scene of lively rail traffic. After a busy planning and preparation phase, we inaugurated our KV terminal that day.

In 2012, we comprehensively expanded our services in the field of intralogistics. With the acquisition of FEIL Lager- und Transportsysteme GmbH, which develops flexible load carriers, logistics containers as well as reusable packaging and transport systems for more efficient materials management, our group gained a further mainstay.
Since May 2014, NOSTA Logistik Sp. z o. o. with the branches Sopot and Słubice has been an independent organisation within the NOSTA group of companies, focussing on the handling of Europe-wide part and full load traffic. About two years later, on 1 August 2016, NOSTA Tradelog S. à r. l. started its activities in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg.
From a primarily nationally oriented freight forwarding service provider to an internationally operating full-service provider for logistics services of all kinds - our company has undergone sustainable development. Since 2014, our new NOSTA brand identity has also taken this rapid development into account.
With the ground-breaking ceremony the new construction of our logistics centre in Ladbergen, which has been in existence since 1997, began on 15 April 2014. With the construction of the new administration building in June 2015, our company once again committed itself to the logistics location.
At the turn of the year 2016/2017, the transition from the first to the second generation of owners was completed in our company. After almost 40 years at the head of the owner-managed family business, Andrea Gallenkamp moved to NOGA GmbH and Nicolas Gallenkamp took over the position as Managing Partner of NOSTA Holding GmbH.
On 1 March 2017, we officially changed the name of NOSTA-Transport GmbH to NOSTA Logistics GmbH. With the new company name, we will not only be able to do more justice to the growing internationalisation of our company, but also to the diversity of our services.
