They look aerodynamic and they are: our EcoFlex trailers effectively save fuel on every journey. In this way, up to eight percent per 100 kilometers are saved in national long-distance transport. An important step towards more sustainable solutions in road transport.
Reducing emissions has a direct impact on the future of logistics. Together with a customer, we are tackling this challenge and have invested in electrically powered trucks. We will use our findings from the project to transform mobility for the benefit of our customers.
Larger volume of goods, versatile and beneficial for the environment at the same time: our craneable trailers can transport up to 44 tons as part of combined transport. They can also be used on trucks as well as on our freight trains. This allows us to reduce emissions and sustainably protect our environment.
Investments in technical innovations are crucial for the future of logistics. At the same time, it must be clear to all parties involved what effect these changes will have. With the help of software solutions such as shipzero, we provide our customers with a transparent overview of where emissions are still being generated in the transport process and also provide possible solutions.
